PROJECTS
804 N. Franklintown Road | 42 Unit Multi-Family | Baltimore, MD - 2022
Currently in a design phase (Public Meetings - UDAAP): My practice is fortunate to have a unique opportunity to design a privately funded multi-family development in West Baltimore. This project is intended to challenge the urban context by preserving the primary facade of an existing warehouse while occupying the remainder of the site with a new housing opportunity. The proposed 4 story building will present a new housing option in an area of Baltimore typically overlooked but primed for new development.
Accessory Dwelling Unit
Shipping Container Construction
Residential | Atlanta, GA
Design/Build Contractor:
Mākhers Studio LLC - 2022
Shipping containers transport goods all over the world. These rigid steel boxes can also be repurposed to provide shelter. At 320 SF this particular dwelling acts as an efficiency unit for a visiting family member or a potential tenant (rental income). This design features 1 BR and 1 BA. There is an ample kitchen and a modest living area.
Row Home Renovation | 2621 Loyola Northway | Baltimore, MD - 2022
Recently completed in Baltimore's Park Heights neighborhood. This project represents the typical row-house renovation product completed by our practice. This property is one of several on the same block - they are currently on the market.
Educational | *Associated Architect w/ GWWO Inc. Architects School Design | Baltimore, MD - 2019
Arundel Elementary School Baltimore, MD—Feasibility study and subsequent design of the new 113,000-SF, $36M, LEED Silver (anticipated) elementary school to replace the existing school. The study determined options for a major renovation/addition versus a replacement to bring the school into current City Schools compliance, including an existing conditions assessment, site evaluation study, program verification, development of multiple schemes, and preliminary cost estimates for each option.
Row Home Renovation/Addition | Historic Residential Design | Baltimore, MD - 2019
Currently in a design phase: This snapshot shows my practice's aspiration to shift toward more modern design but in a historical setting. Baltimore is city of row-homes, mostly constructed of bricks/mortar. This new and exciting project provides and opportunity to articulate a vision to advance building material options while respecting its neighbors.
